Update on 04-13-2012
The Thiels reached gen 10 and I painstakingly went through all my files and all the families I had ever saved and opened them all up, put them in the same family (thanks master controller) and took a group shot! So check out their page for that pic. It was a lot of work! I'm really happy that I reached gen 10. The heiress for that generation is still a toddler, but in the next few days I'll play through her childhood. :)

Update on 03-30-2012
I managed to resurrect one of the gen 8 kids, so that legacy will be continuing! When I feel able to go back to them and start writing them, I will. In the meantime, enjoy the DOARS.

Update on 03-25-2012
So, as many of you may know, the Thiels have died in a tragic death that leaves me the only option of trying to recreate the current heir in CAS. Who knows if that will happen. It's so sad. :'(

Let's learn a little about my history with sims and challenges, eh?
As a simmer I have completed one fairly undocumented Sims 2 legacy and the Differences in the Family Tree challenge in the Sims 3 that also went undocumented.
The lack of recorded history about both of those projects fills me with sadness. Afterall they took a large amount of time to complete, and my memory has been failing me. To this day I cannot always name all my DITFT heirs in a row and I cannot name any but one of my Sims 2 legacy heirs. That's just sad, really.
Currently I'm in the eighth generation of my Thiel legacy and I'm starting to enter the familiar patter of forgetting bygone sims. I know they're not real, but there's something about little forgotten simmies that makes me sad. So I've started document them. Also I'd like to stop clogging up my friends google + pages with pictures of the Thiels. :D I gave them the name Lost and Found because it seemed fitting as the legacy was lost for several years and then found by me. Plus I liked how it sounded. Anyways, please read on about the Thiels and give me any feedback you feel like leaving. :D
