DOARS- Week 5, Day 1- Scheduling Pools

Still goin.... good thing these chapters are short. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Diary,
Day 4 and counting....
I know it's not really fair to him, he stays up all night and takes care of his garden and the kids so that I can get a good night's sleep. But I might almost rather just take turns getting up with the kids at night and have me and Cycl0n3 on the same schedule...
Apparently this morning when I got up, he'd already hit the weight bench. Doesn't he look smug with himself? I think he knows that me and Raquel just absolutely adore him. You don't think that'll give him a big head, do you?
While he was eating breakfast (sushi for breakfast?) I sat down with Raquel and started teaching her everything about how to have a happy marriage, namely, that you have to pick the right guy. She seemed to get the idea, I'm sure when she grows up she'll be a very happily married woman with who knows how many kids. ... I just hope she doesn't grow up too quickly!
Well, Cycl0n3 and I had an idea to spend leisure day at the Alto's pool party. I mean, think about it. Cycl0n3 in the water... shirtless, yeah. We weren't gonna miss that pool party. So I said goodbye to Raquel and I wanted to say goodbye to Hector but he was fast asleep, so hopefully he won't mind too much that he has a babysitter when he wakes up. Poor guy, now I'm worried about it, but we aren't going to miss this party for the world. Plus, who knows, maybe we'll get back before he wakes up.
We spent a good 6 hours at that party, just splashing in the water, having 'holding our breath' contests, and basically acting like a bunch of kids. It was exactly what we needed. A fun day to ourselves, just me and Cycl0n3... and every one else that went to the party! We were the only ones in the pool though, so we barely even noticed the other guests.
Not that I would have noticed even if they had been swimming, I mean, c'mon, Cycl0n3 without a shirt on is a little bit distracting, what with his ridiculously toned abs. Who would have thought that women would be drooling over him? He's Cycl0n3 Sw0rd! He's always been famous as the geeky stick that might be human!
In a less funny train of thought, I really ought to convince him to sleep shirtless, then he's practically never wear a shirt. I think he lives in his pajamas, well either those or his workout clothes, but I think the last time I saw him in a regular outfit was before Hector was born! Okay, not really, but I can't even remember the last time he wore real clothing.
After a long, wonderful, but tiring, day out, we dismissed the baby sitter and took care of our babies. hector didn't seem too shaken up by waking up without us, but he was a bit clingier than usual, but he wasn't screaming or crying and he seemed to be fine. Still, though, I made sure to spend a little extra time with him and be really sweet. He enjoyed that.
Cycl0n3 used his evening to take care of the garden. He'd been up for most of the night, so I imagine he must be exhausted! He sure is dedicated to that garden, though! He's cute when he's talking to his plants, isn't he?
Well, right after this (it was about 4 in the afternoon) he went to bed, not that I can blame him. It did leave me a lone in the evening, though, but I guess I'm getting used to that. It did give me some time to fix the dishwasher, which had broken again, so that's good. We don't need the house flooding and killing us all in our sleep, right?
I spent the rest of the evening with Raquel, trying to get her ready for me to go back to work. Tomorrow would be my last day off! It was hard to believe, but I'm so ready to be working again. The kids are getting old enough that they will be just fine without me for a few hours a day.
Well, Cyclon3 got up just as I was going to bed.... again. I tell ya, this opposite schedules thing is annoying! But, as long as we have babies that need someone 24/7, I guess there's not much we can do about it. I think I'm getting too old to be a mother of such young children! Cycl0n3 and I are just not as young as we used to be.
A little bit older than the night before,
Lynn Sw0rd
  1. It would be awfully nice if townies were ever pushed to swim in the pool when they went to pool parties.
    1. Lol! It would be awfully nice, though I imagine we'd have a lot more drownings reported if they did!
  2. It's weird to see Cycl0n3 all buff... I'm used to him being scrawny!
